"Feel Good"

The debut CD from Gloria Allende, Feel Good, invites you on a journey to the rhythms of Brazil, the Caribbean, Latin Jazz, and the Blues with a cheerful twist.

Gloria Allende is a singer, dancer and songwriter. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and raised in Los Angeles, California but has now made her home on the East Coast.

Gloria Allende delights audiences with a musical blend of Jazz, R&B and Latin. Gloria's mix of powerful and smooth vocal phrasing will excite and soothe your soul. Her music reveals fresh insights to melody and meaning.

Gloria Allende explains her songwriting to be a “feeling that comes over her that is usually attached with a melody.” Positive music that sends a message straight to the heart is what she aspires to write. “People like to relate to lyrics in one way or another” and that is the very reason she models her songs after true life experiences.

Gloria has been inspired musically by Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, Sade, Celia Cruz and Ella Fitzgerald combined with her own flavor to create a style of her own.

Gloria has performed for celebrities such as: James Carey, Rick James, Allen Iverson, Billie D. Williams.  She has shared the stage with many well-known artists such as: Stylistics, Regina Belle, Marion Meadows, Alfonso Blackwell, David Valentin and Pablo Batista 

Gloria Allende's Debut CD, Feel Good was produced by Dan Kleiman.

Producer Dan Kleiman has performed with Grammy-award winning jazz artists Ernie Watts and Mike Stern, Benny Golson, Charles Fambrough, Boyz 2 Men, The Fifth Dimension, Charles Fambrough, Gerald Veasley, Howard Levy (Bela Fleck), Ralph Bowen, John Swana, Allan Harris, Clint Holmes and James Brown drummer, Clyde Stubblefield.

Dan has written or produced music for SONY Inc., PBS, TOVA, Lifetime Network, Travel Network (Canada), Philadelphia Flower Show, the Miss Black America Pageant, and WIP Radio.
